【摘要】:1.1Thispracticecoversthreetypesoflaboratoryweatheringexposureproceduresforevaluatingtheeffectofactinicradiation,heat,andmoistureonsealants.1.2Theexposuresourcesusedinthethreetypesofartificialweatheringdevicesarethefilteredxenonarc,fluorescentultravioletlamps,andopenflamecarbonarcbasedonPracticesG155,G154,andG152,respectively.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.4TheISOstandardrelatedtothisPracticeisISO11431.Significantdifferencesexistbetweentheprocedures.TheISOspecimensareexposedthroughglassandareelongatedpriortoexaminationforlossofadhesionorcohesion,orboth,followingexposure.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
