【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiestestsandperformancerequirements,andproducesphotometricratings,formicroprismaticretroreflectivesheetingmaterialforuseinverticalroadtrafficsigns.Itisnotapplicabletomaterialsbasedonglassbeadtechnology(microspheric)ormaterialsintendedforuseinmicroprismatictransilluminatedsigns.NOTE1Theretroreflectiveperformanceofmicroprismaticmaterialscanbeaffectedifthesignistilted;thephotometricratingmethodpresumesvertically.NOTE2ThisstandardcomplementsBSEN12899-1,whichspecifiesrequirementsforothercomponentsofverticalroadtrafficsigns.NOTE3AlthoughtherequirementsofthisBritishStandardareforthemanufacturerofsignsheetingandthesignmaker,AnnexGandAnnexIgiveguidancetothespecifyingroadauthorityontheselectionof,respectively,entranceangularitysubclassesandsheeting.
