【摘要】:Thispracticecoversgeneralandbasicproceduresrelatedtotheproperinstallationofthermoplastic,flexible,pressurepiping,36in.nominalsizeandsmaller,forundergroundirrigationsystems.Becausethereisconsiderablevariabilityinend-userequirements,soilconditions,andthermoplasticpipingcharacteristics,itistheintentofthispracticetooutlinegeneralobjectivesandbasicsofproperinstallationandtoprovidepertinentreferences,ratherthantoprescribedetailedinstallationprocedures.Thispracticeshouldnotbeusedforinstallingthermoplasticundergroundsewer,drain,potablewater,conduitorgasservicepiping.Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Valuesinparenthesesaregivenforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyproblems,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
