【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestestmethodsandperformancerequirementsforbreathalcoholcontrolledalcoholinterlockshavingamouthpiece.Itcoversalcoholinterlocksintendedforgeneralpreventiveuse.ThisEuropeanStandardismainlydirectedtotestlaboratoriesandmanufacturersforalcoholinterlocks.Itdefinesrequirementsandtestproceduresfortypeapproval.Severalparameters(asforexamplealcoholconcentrationorbreathvolume)arespecifiedinthisEuropeanStandardforthepurposeoftypetestingaccordingtothisstandardonly.However,itmaybenecessaryaccordingtonationalregulationsordependingonuserrequeststosetthevaluesoftheprescribedparametersdifferentlyforuseofthealcoholinterlocks.ThisEuropeanStandardalsoappliestoalcoholinterlocksintegratedintoothersystemsofthevehicle.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotapplyto–alcoholinterlocksintendedtobeusedmainlyintrafficsafetyprogramsfordrinkdrivingoffenders(seeEN50436-1),–instrumentsmeasuringthealcoholconcentrationintheambientairinthevehicle,–alcoholinterlocksnothavingamouthpiece.
